After finally getting to see the testshot form of the full Seacons team and King Poseidon at Summer Wonderfest, TakaraTomy Mall has put up the first order page for the anticipated Generations Selects combiner team.
Two of the Seacons are now available to preorder: Turtler (Snaptrap), and Gulf (Skalor). Customers have the option to preorder each figure either individually, or as a set of two, though the total price is the same regardless of which option is taken. Offering Skalor/Gulf individually is certainly a courtesy for collectors who might wish to troop build some Seacon drones, according to their use in Masterforce.
Sold as Generations Selects King Poseidon Wave 1 Set, the listed price is ¥11,124, which is a retail price of ¥10,300, plus 8% sales tax. That equals out to about $96 for the pair, pre-tax. Individually, the toys are ¥6,500, and ¥3,800 before tax, which are basically standard prices for Voyagers and Deluxes.
The listings come with several full color photos of the toys, looking nice and vibrant - not to mention giving a bit better view than testshots in a glass case have done for us so far! Skalor's weapon mode is shown for the first time, confirming that all the limb Seacons should have weapon configurations like the G1 toys.
The preorder period runs through August 28th. Currently there's no word whether these toys will be offered through Hasbro Pulse - but we certainly hope they will be!
