Hailee Steinfeld Confirms Casting In Bumblebee Movie - Production To Start Soon

Previously rumored, it looks like we have definite confirmation of our first cast member for 2018's Bumblebee movie. Hailee Steinfeld talked with news.com.au about her upcoming tour in Australia, during which she verified her involvement with the prequel movie. She also said that as soon as she gets back from Australia, it'll be time to begin filming. The movie currently branded as Transformers Universe: Bumbkebee is expected in theatres next summer, so this production timeline is just about on track. On the eve of her whirlwind promotional visit to Australia next weekend to spruik Most Girls, Steinfeld was confirmed to star in the Transformers prequel Bumblebee. She will also appear on The Voice while in Australia.

“I am so excited to know that is the next movie I am working on,” she said as the news broke last week.

“Obviously I’m coming to Australia and when I come back, we start shooting.”
