CorporateJust when we were getting comfortable with plastic free packaging, Hasbro has told us they are bringing back to plastic windows and blisters packs in the future using bio PET or recycled PET plastics. The information we were sent mentions this will initially take effect in late 2023 with select G.I. Joe, Star Wars, and Marvel releases. It is not known if and when Transformers will see a change. The new windows and blisters will be made from bio PET or recycled PET helping us achieve our priority of meeting our fans’ expectations for extraordinary packaging and superior design while still developing packaging that minimizes waste and the use of virgin plastic.
