Hasbro has filed with the US Patent Office for a pair of very broad trademarks on the name "Go-Bots," applying to both Entertainment and Consumer Products. Pretty much everything is on the table from TV shows and movies to games and of course, toys. It's unlikely that we're going to see everything that the trademarks cover - a GoBots tabletop RPG? I don't think so - but if Hasbro were to want to create anything new for Go-Bots or even just reissue Challenge of the GoBots on DVD, this would be the first step.
