The trademark-watchers over at Transformers@The Moon have posted a curious piece of news this morning: Hasbro has filed a trademark with the US Patent Office for the name "Cybertron Con," which is the name of the official Transformers convention in Asia. It's far too early to tell whether this means a name change for BotCon, a new convention, or simply a "defensive" trademark so no fan group can take it in the US, but at any rate, it's an interesting development!
