Hasbro Pulse Delays Generations Selects Seacons

With just two days left before the original shipping date, Hasbro Pulse has moved the goal posts on fans expecting the first wave of Generations Selects Seacons. Originally scheduled for release on Saturday, January 25th, Turtler and Gulf are now showing a date of March 23rd before they'll be available to customers in the US and Canada.

Those of us who preordered Star Convoy through Hasbro Pulse will recall a series of delays leading to a similar overall delay from the originally promised arrival. We don't know what might be behind this, but we do know that the result is more and more a failing of confidence in Hasbro's official online store. At this point, we should all hope that there is not a repeat of the situation with the Noizu and Gurafi cassette reissues, where many customers had orders cancelled with no alternative for sourcing those figures, supposedly due to part of the stock of those products arriving damaged. Sadly, we should probably expect the subsequent two waves to suffer similar delays, which would mean American collectors might not be able to complete King Poseidon until late May at the earliest.
