The patent-watches at Transformers@The Moon have reported that Hasbro has just filed a new trademark application for a familiar name: Metroplex! The trademark is geared towards toys... so are we getting a new Metroplex toy of some sort soon? Keep reading for details of the filing at the US Patent Office and some idle speculation!
So: is he perhaps the character/playset codenamed "Cybertron" in the Transformers: The Last Knight toyline? Something new for Robots In Disguise? Or is this perhaps a reissue of the Generations Titan Class figure to make Titans Return Trypticon's arch-nemesis more readily available? It's difficult to say, but hopefully we'll find out more soon!
