Hasbro to Celebrate Transformers 35th Anniversary Soon

The Licensing Source website has posted news that Hasbro will be celebrating the Transformers 35th Anniversary in 2021. Technically, the anniversary was last year, 2019, but Hasbro states they are making plans beginning as early as Q4 2020 that will likely include more new product reveals and exclusives to be announced at the Festival of Licensing that takes place October 6-29 2020. Stay tuned for updates on Tformers as they happen!

Plans for milestone anniversaries – including the 35th anniversary of Transformers in 2021 and the 85th for Monopoly, beginning in Q4 2020 – will be high on the agenda, while it will also mark the first showcase since Hasbro acquired eOne and its slate of preschool properties.

This set does a good job making all the various toylines feel like they fit / work together. Feels like what someone would actually have in their toy box. Pretty cool.

Maybe it’s me, but I wouldn’t be making it known that I sell educational toys for preschoolers if I was stating that 1984 + 35 = 2021
