TakaraTomy's Hisashi Yuki has shared a couple of fascinating pieces of art on Twitter in recognition of the 15th anniversary of Transformers: Car Robots, later known in the US as the first Robots In Disguise. The first is a rough color layout for Fire Convoy, AKA Optimus Prime, but the second one is an even older piece, a design sketch for the character. In the early stages Fire Convoy looked a fair bit more like the original Optimus Prime - also, he was a Maximal! Keep reading to see the images!
