The Hollywood Reporter has posted a news article addressing the many reports surrounding the IDW Publishing Transformers and G.I. Joe licenses expiring this year. Today, IDW has confirmed with the Hollywood Reporter that this is indeed the case:
The sad news is we have come to the end of an era, but it is not done yet. IDW will complete the current series they have before year's end. Still not confirmed but highly expected is Skybound, run by Walking Dead's Robert Kirkman and current employer of Chris Ryall, to take over the publishing licenses which they were last reported in negotiations for.
