In Hand Photos Of Combiner Wars G2 Superion And Menasor Featuring Bonus Package Contents

Albert Ng, who brought us the first up close look at the extended bios for 2016 Deluxe wave 2 has today posted several photos showing G2 Superion and Menasor, including shots of the special posters both sets include. Plus as an added extra, Albert did some comparisons between vintage G2 Superion and the new set, though those sensitive to the consequences of gold plastic syndrome may wish to look away from vintage Slingshot. Keep reading to see the photos and a few more details.

Regarding Slingshot, it seems Hasbro maybe decided to minimize some risks, as Slingshot's combiner plug is black plastic, not any variety of gold. Hopefully the gold plastic of the body will not deteriorate in any significant way, but whatever the outcome of that, the toy won;t be holding its weight in limb mode on gold plastic. Albert also reports that the poster, laughably small instructions, and collector's card are all held within a stiff cardboard envelope inside the box - and excellent move to keep the poster in good condition for shipping!
