Italian Catalog Image Of G1 Scorponok Surfaces, Showing Alternate Color Scheme

Roll Out Roll Call, in collaboration with The Spacebridge and Transformers @ The Moon, have released heretofore unknown images from a Italian GiG toy catalog showing an unused color scheme for the original Scorponok! Most fascinatingly of all, the green and orange with fluorescent green highlights seems very much like it was probably the source of Energon Scorponok's color scheme. Keep reading to see the catalog photos as well as other photos from The Spacebridge of proposed Scorponok & Black Zarak color schemes!

One of the many areas Roll Out Roll Call, The UK Transformers, G.I. Joe & Action Force Show is active within is helping fans and collectors an invaluable insight into the history, design and production of all the toys we know and love. Over the years, we have been involved bringing to light many concepts, ideas and products of 'what could have been', we love it and the feedback we get is you all do too :) Thanks to our friends and guru's at The Spacebridge and Transformers At The Moon - www.transformertoys.co.uk we are proud to showcase a previously unknown preproduction alternate deco for Scorponok. This awesome alternate deco may have at one point been a consideration for the Italian market, via distribution through GiG under license from Takara directly in 1987. We hope you enjoy it and look forward to providing you with more awesome reveals in the future.
