Just from the Asia SNS we have some new images today that reveal the possible Voyager Junkion Images from Transformers Legacy Evolution. This appears to be the figure for the February leaked listing, which says this figure will be shipping with Voyager Bludgeon for Wave 4 in October 2023, so there should be news about this in time for summer.
The handful of images show the robot mode without a visible head. Its not entirely sure, but the vehicle mode looks a like a truck, with a translated description as "garbage star truck". What could be Animated Wreck-Gar, AOE Junk Heap, Rescue Bots Salvage or another trash truck maybe? Check out the images of what's there until we get more or info or the official reveal.
The more I look at this, the more I think it's not actually put together correctly. Like the parts are correct for this figure but they're assembled wrong.
The "front" going by the elbows and knees has a chest with ports on it which is odd. It's rare for any Transformer to have blatant ports on the front like that. There could be a part missing though like a chest plate. That's not really what I mean though, the fists are the on the wrong arms. Again going by the elbows, the thumbs on each fist is on the bottom of the fists. The shoulders look like they could be either direction again like Universe Sideswipe and Sunstreaker which is why I brought him up previously. It's just that what appears to be the front of the shoulders going by the elbows and knees again, has the flat headed pins on the front of the figure. That's not something that normally happens on Transformers either. It's not unheard of but it's not standard and they try to avoid doing that when possible.
Going on to the chest and back, they both look wrong too. With what seems to be the front has a lower torso that looks incomplete. Either it's not fully transformed or that it's missing more pieces than just the accessories and head. The back of the figure, which is also the vehicle front, looks like it's wrong too. It just doesn't meet modern design standards for back kibble. Seemingly no locking points and again, it looks like it's missing something.
Then there's the fact that the legs aren't screwed together completely. All these factors makes me think that this is very early figure in production. So early that the person who "stole" it didn't even know how to put it together properly and had to rush or something just to be able to get it out of the factory within their timeframe to "sneak" things out. Derp, the post says that it's for February so this is most likely the case. I don't recall that part being there when I first read the post though. Or the part about this being a "garbage star truck". Maybe my imagination just got the better of me and I forgot I read that. Oh well.
Yeah thinking about it more, what looks to be the back here is actually the front of the figure. The arms should then rotate at the biceps, rotate the hands around then the waist. The feet might be wrong too but they look like they could go either way. The transformation hinges for the arms will also be on the back which makes more sense. It also looks like the front of the flaps that connect the arms to the torso have little tabs that the front of the vehicle should attach to to form the chest. That should get everything in their proper orientation with the flat headed pins and the 5mm ports on the back. Meaning that the resemblance to Strika that I thought was going on was just a fluke.
This will also make it so that the front wheels will be right up there front and center on the torso which will kind of suck but oh well. Energon Demolishor pulled it off lol. This almost makes it more likely that this could be a new to toy for him lol. It's just that he had four wheels, not six. Maybe it's for RotF Wreckage/Bludgeon too. It's just that he had 8 wheels, not six lol.
I do like how big and burly this mold looks. Can't wait to see what it really is.
You know what, I'm not familiar with the games. Could this be something for the Studio Series Gamers line? I mean, there's no discernable cockpit anywhere that I can see. So it could be a Cybertronian vehicle.

Indeed. They don't seem very Junkion like. Which is another reason why I thought of Strika. Obviously there's no accessories here as there isn't even a head. Those would be the major giveaways as to who, or what they could be. Heavy six wheeled vehicles aren't something that get's done often in the Transformers brand.
If it were me dealing with this exact prototype I'd obviously make it Strika. However looking at what appears to be the back of the figure and how that piece looks like the front of a dump truck, the retool of this would be Energon Demolishor using the back as the chest. Similar to Universe Sideswipe and Sunstreaker. The rest can be differentiated by the accessories and some minor retooling. A little more work would need to be done to the back to make it look better as a chest though. But that's just me and my wild thoughts again.
Yeah I guess I could see this as a Junkion with the molded chains on the underside of the arms. However and I don't know if it's because of the purples used on this prototype but I think this looks something like Strika. She's a six wheeled vehicle like this will be. What appears to be the chest looks somewhat like hers. I don't know, I'm just seeing Strika here. Like it's a cross between her "G1" design, her IDW design and Cyberverse Alpha Strike. Maybe this will be retooled into her at some point.
The alt mode doesn't seem to line up though from what I guess this will transform into. What appears to be the back kibble is the front of the vehicle mode. It almost looks like the front of a dump truck. Which would make sense given this is supposedly a Junkion.
We'll just have to wait and see.
