Just in off the SNS is some new product listings from the deep dark reaches of the inventory databases with work of a possible Studio Series 1986 Anime Deco Prowl and Legacy G2 Wildrider figures. The Prowl figure is said to be part of a Buzzworthy Bumblebee 2-Pack Target exclusive set. The Legacy release is expected to be part of the ongoing effort to release a G2 Stunticons set over time via capsule releases. Read on to see the leaked product info thanks to JTPrime17.

NOTE - As always, it is not official until Hasbro or Takara announces it. So take all this as a rumor until we have the official word.
I particularly don't care for the solid color windows - it makes them look like cheap knockoffs. Overall, this figure is executed poorly - vehicle mode just looks awful. And why is the battle damage look like a square was cut out of his chest?
That face sculpt though. Whoever designed it needs to work on Marvel Legends. It is spot on.
I just wish the versions without the translucent plastic weren't so difficult to get like Cliffjumper (who I still don't have) or have battle damage like Prowl here. Yet poor Kup was way too overproduced for some reason. Cliffjumper should've been the one to get more in each case since the Earthrise version was highly sought after as it was and regular SS Kup was still on shelves at the time. As much as Hasbro likes to point fingers at the retails when it comes to exclusives, this and Cosmos is on them. They created the case assortments and which ones would be shortpacked. So it was them who put Cosmos to one a case and put out two Kups at the same time and made the second release have a higher amount per case. Yes the retailer could order straight cases of a figure but how often do they do that? Rarely ever since they see that they still have stock and don't realize that it's the one's that were shortpacked that are the ones people want as that's not how they view things.
I wouldn't mind picking a second Prowl up if it didn't have the battle damage. I'd then turn one (most likely this one) into Iga Prowl. But the battle damage is going to keep me from doing that even though it does look good. Maybe I'll do it anyway.
Well, that's certainly morbid, yet interesting. This scene broke my heart as a kid because Prowl and Ironhide were favorites of mine. Glad I was able to get the non-battle-damaged Earthrise version. I do prefer the painted windows though for longevity. On the fence on picking this one up. (I probably still will.)
