Legendary Nemesis Prime 7-11 Japan Exclusive Revealed

Having been teased earlier in the week, 7net, 7-11 Japan's online retail space, has posted images and a preorder page for their latest Transformers exclusive. Legendary Nemesis Prime is the black, teal, and red redeco of the Leader-size Optimus Prime figure TakaraTomy developed based on Age of Extinction's Evasion Mode Optimus Prime, exclusive to their Bumblebee Movie toyline.

Legendary Nemesis Prime is priced at ¥7500 (¥8100 with tax) and is due to start shipping in early September. Currently no cutoff date is clearly indicated on the product page, so it seems like it will be possible to preorder this exclusive for an extended period - perhaps right up to its release date. Unfortunately, that may not make it any easier for interested parties outside of Japan to get hold of this figure. The services of a middleman or other reseller will be needed in order to obtain one, which will further increase the costs.

With Japan's 7-11 getting this mold in Nemesis colors, we would hardly be surprised if the Studio Series Voyager Optimus based on the Bumblebee Movie design should turn up as an event exclusive for Tokyo Toy Show this year, since TakaraTomy seems reluctant to pass up any good opportunity to get a Nemesis recolor out of whatever Optimus mold they have handy.
