Autobase Aichi has published a synopsis of the Transformers news in this month's issue of Hyper Hobby, one of the many hobby magazines published monthly in Japan. While the mechanical translation is typically shaky, it seems as though the Legends series, with its higher standards of deco, will be continuing alongside the Japanese release of Power of the Primes! But there is still a catch - keep reading for details.
Basically it looks like a new photo. The introductory text itself is not particularly novelty content, but regarding the PP series, it seems to be a policy to release all kinds with the worldwide common specification.
In relation to that, with regard to the future of the TF Legends of the current series, there is a description that "Takara Tomy Mall will be continued around the center".
By the way, regarding the coalescing function of the dreadwind and blackwing, I did not mention it here as well.
Emphasis is ours. If we're making heads or tails of this correctly, this is saying that Legends will continue "centered on TakaraTomy Mall." Meaning Japanese online exclusives - so don't be surprised if importing whatever Legends series figures we get from here in becomes a little more expensive. Still, this could be an alternative to PotP on some figures, or at least an expansion of character selection, so good news!
It also mentions that the combining feature of Blackwing and Dreadwind isn't mentioned in the magazine, which is apparently a continuing thing. Maybe they're trying to downplay that until a Legends Buster and Hydra are announced? Let's hope so.
