Legends Series Godbomber And Super Ginrai New Images From Generations 2017
ExVee - Friday, December 16, 2016

The latest Generations book from Hero-X (formerly Million Publishing) has just come out, and among the usual great range of product photos, art and other fun content of that sort, we have a feature on the upcoming Godbomber for TakaraTomy's Legends series. Weibo user flykinger has taken some photos of the interior, and while certainly not the best images, it does show new details, like a back view of Godbomber revealing how empty the forearms are when not photographed just right. Keep reading for more info and mirrored images!

So what have we learned?

Well, it was believed from the initial solicitation images that Godbomber utilized Combiner Wars style joints to facilitate if not at least part of the combination with Super Ginrai, then to better accomplish its own disassembly to become armor. These pictures seem to verify this point, showing the legs to utilize Combiner Wars plugs. Whether these actually are used to interface with Super Ginrai is yet unclear.

We also have the first relative scale image. Godbomber is every bit as tall as Super Ginrai, a fact that may help smooth the pricepoint over for some people!

Unfortunately, the additional views of Legends God Ginrai make it seem that the wings which had been noted previously for sitting especially high do not have a clearly obvious way to change their position.

One rough summary of the article noted two clear items of interest: Godbomber is in fact a figure designed specifically for the Japanese market, as many had already assumed. And the Headmaster/Titan Master draws no particular inspiration from any existing sources for its individual humanoid mode.
