Man, it's going to be neat to see what TakaraTomy does with this one, huh? Action Robo's Facebook page has posted a listing for LG-43 Dinosaurer, AKA Trypticon, as a late August release costing 25,000 Yen, or roughly $223 USD by current exchange rates. Keep reading to see the listing (in Japanese)!
It's a fairly rare thing for TakaraTomy releases to hit market before Hasbro's, so we can probably guess that Trypticon's "Fall 2017" release in the US will be sometime before then.
Trypticon's going to be an interesting choice for importers. It has no electronics - unless TakaraTomy adds them, which seems unlikely - and no Master Sword accessory to add. And Full-Tilt never made an animation appearance, so there's no new faceplate to add to him. The best they could possibly do would be to add a recolor of Generations Legends-class Tailgate as Wipe-Out... who was a US comics character, so that's unlikely too.
And so, Legends Series Trypticon is likely going to live or die for importers by its deco. What could TakaraTomy possibly do that would be worth an extra hundred dollars to collectors?
