Masterpiece Beast Wars Dinobot First Look At New Prototype
ExVee - Tuesday, October 24, 2017

Thanks to lord ginrai we have a first look at a page from this month's issue of Figure King Magazine, but as it happens, what's important right now is not what's in this issue, but what will be seen in next month's issue: Masterpiece Dinobot! A small teaser showing the beast mode of a grey prototype is used to promote next month's feature. While we have seen some early looks at the design of the next Beast Wars Masterpiece (see links below), this image does seem a bit more refined. We've got the new images for you in the full post, so come in and have a look!

Transformers Forged to Fight Releases the beast with the introduction of the Beast Wars Maximal leader, Optimus Primal joining the game play. The Maximal starship Axalon, commanded by Optimus Primal was pulled into a Transwarp Portal while in pursuit of a Predacon warship. Stranded on ancient Earth, Primal and his crew of Maximals fought the Beast Wars to preserve the timeline and protect all life in the galaxy. Read on for the full details.
The other day, Optimus Primal voice actor Garry Chalk gave his first-ever Christmas address - getting into a tradition that Beast Wars Megatron actor David Kaye has upheld for many years now. Today, Kaye responds with his own How The Grinch Stole Christmas song adaptation! But where Chalk went with the classic from the 1966 animated special, Kaye went to the live-action film for "Where Are You, Optimus?" Keep reading to see!
For many years now David Kaye, voice actor for Beast Wars Megatron, has released an in-character Christmas address or recitation on YouTube. Finally, after all these years, Optimus Primal voice actor Garry Chalk responds! Singing "You're A Mean One, Megatron," Chalk riffs on "Mr. Grinch" and reveals a side of his repertoire as a performer that there was little room for in Beast Wars: he's quite the singer. Happy Halloween! Today we've dug up the Halloween Horrorcons, the one and only attempt Hasbro ever made to make Halloween-themed Transformers toys. Who were they, what were they, where were they supposed to be available... and why don't you have any? We'll take a look at that after the jump.
Though I cannot speak for all of us here at TFormers, I am myself not a statue person. But this certainly makes me think twice. Prime 1 Studios has posted to Facebook showing their stunningly beautiful statue depicting Megatron as he appeared (more or less) in the first season of Beast Wars. The dino parts are a fair bit more detailed and "realistic" but otherwise this is a love letter to the original cartoon model. About the only fault I might find is the dismembered Dinobot on the base. The price for this is $1149, or $1199 for the exclusive version with the extra face option.
