Masterpiece MP-47 Hound Official Images Show Hologram Effect Parts, Worst Shield In History Of Shields

TakaraTomyMall has posted images of the long-awaited Masterpiece Hound! The figure includes a host of small accessories including a hologram projection effects piece, a holographic driver figure (along with a more typical Spike Witwicky figure), and a "canvas" top that Hound used in an episode of the original cartoon which can double as possibly the least effective shield ever made.

(As in, if it were real it would be made of canvas, but we fully expect it to be molded plastic like the rest of the figure.)

It also confirmed the full Japanese price (presumably with sales tax) of¥19,440, which is about $179 USD as of this writing per Google. That's a pretty steep increase from the last Autobot Car we saw released. Do the accessories make up the difference? That's got to be up to you, the buyer. Still, he's finally coming out! Hound, who was first announced and shown sometime last year, finally goes up for sale late December 2019.

As with every single masterpiece I own, every single accessory (save the gun) will live out its entire life in the box.

Holy Mother of Cybertron, that shield is HORRIBLE!
