Masterpiece MP-49 Black Convoy First Look Plus Rumored Price!

Following an initial teaser a few days ago that revealed its existence, we have our first look at MP-49 Black Convoy. To the surprise of no one, it's a black redeco of MP-44 Convoy/Optimus Prime Ver. 3, with teal and red accents. The image quality of this first look is mostly garbage, but is enough to give a basic sense of this upcoming Masterpiece.

The Weibo post from MOMO模玩 where the image was first found also mentions the planned price: ¥28,000. With the current exchange rates, that would put it somewhere around $250 - though some retailers in Japan will undoubtedly be offering it for probably closer to ¥20,000 on preorder discount. The price - and unique MP-number, for that matter - are clearly based on the absence of MP-44's trailer. We've been told to expect official information on or about December 5th, so it shouldn't be long before we have a good look at everything this Optimus redeco will have to offer. Stay tuned!
