More Exclusive G1 Reissues Coming From Walmart - Starscream, Autobot Mini-Vehicles, Devastator!

Thanks to new listings on Robot Kingdom, we've learned tonight that Hot Rod is but the first of a series of reissued G1 toys on the way to Walmart stores in the near-ish future! Following up that release will be Starscream, priced at $41.90 and due for availability at Robot Kingdom in July. This release of Starscream is pictured as having the Megatron gun introduced with the 2003 Takara reissue of the mold, which the Commemorative Series Starscream did not include. Two more releases will come shortly after Starscream. First is a Devastator set, also expected in July, and priced at $89.90. We have no further information about this, but it can be presumed it will be just like the Encore release from 2011. Finally, there's the "G1 Legion Collection Pack" which will be an assortment of Autobot mini-vehicles. Robot Kingdom is selling the full case of 8, consisting of 3 Bumblebee, 1 Outback, and 2 each of Swerve and Tailgate. The listing is priced at $76.90 which thankfully suggests a sub-$10 pricepoint for these at retail.

Since we're still waiting for Hot Rod to show any form of availability via Walmart, it's uncertain how long it may be before these subsequent reissues become available through their intended channel, or whether they will be online-only, or find a home on actual Walmart store shelves.
