With the robot-only Optimus Prime reissue already beginning to hit US Walmarts at its absurd $49.97 retail price (except where it's actually even higher), it looks like 2019 is making a quick start of a new assortment of G1 reissues to take the place of the Hot Rods and Starscreams being quickly clearanced out. And there's more to come!
In Demand Toys on Facebook has shared two new stock images showing reissue-packaged Autobot mini-vehicles Gears and Warpath, who in part or perhaps entirely will make up a second assortment of the mini cars at the $8 level. These molds were seen back in 2004 during "The Transformers Collection" phase of Takara's G1 reissues. Also in that set were the likes of Cosmos, Powerglide, and Huffer, which could point to their eventual release in the Walmart reissue series as well.
