MP-36 Masterpiece Megatron - Metallic File Giveaway At Cybertron Satellite Stores In Japan

TakaraTomy has announced another giveaway in their Cybertron Satellite stores, this time a metallic file folder being given away to support the release of MP-36 Megatron. Having begin on April 1st, the file will be given away while supplies last with purchases at the Takara-affiliated brick and mortar stores in Japan. Keep reading for more details!
The front of the folder (by Japanese right-to-left reckoning) displays a new illustration of Megatron while the back has Megatron's half of a Japanese G1 package painting. Presumably, the Optimus Prime half will be coming soon if it hasn't already.

MP-36 Megatron is available now. The official web page for the promotion also seems to indicate that MP-10 Optimus Prime is once again coming back into print. Though it's probably more accurate to say it's never out of print, in one form or another.

For those not familiar with the terms, "Metallic File" and "Clear File" are exactly what they sound like: file folders with an image (usually of licensed characters) sporting a metallic finish or made in clear plastic. They tend to be popular giveaways in Japan.
