Dengeki Hobby has posted a couple of news stories to get us up to date on TakaraTomy's ever-popular Masterpiece line! First up is the official package art for MP-36 Megatron, and you can just about hear Frank Welker's maniacal cackle looking at the image. Also of note are some reissues due for April next year - keep reading for the specifics!
April 2017 will see the re-release of MP-11 Starscream - the version with the cape and crown. Also due that month are MP-13 Soundwave, plus MP-15 Rumble & Ravage plus MP-16 Frenzy and Buzzsaw.
Megatron is due at the beginning of April for a hefty 23,000 Yen. (About $203 USD as of this writing.) Starscream, as Megatron would tell you, is worth less; he comes out later in the month for 13,000 Yen ($113 USD as of 12/06/16.) Soundwave is 15,800 ($136), also due in late April, and includes Laserbeak. The two cassette sets are also for late April and run 4,200 Yen. ($37)
