New Masterpiece Optimus Prime On The Way For 35th Anniversary?

From a Japanese hobby magazine via Singapore fan group Planet Iacon, we have an image that seems to show chest and shoulder design art for a new G1-styled Optimus Prime figure. Is this a new Masterpiece version 3.0? Or something else entirely? It'll be a good while before we know, but meanwhile, keep reading to see the image!
If it is a new Masterpiece Optimus that's in line with current MP design philosophies, a fascinating question emerges: how close can they get to the animation model? While the MP-10 and MP-1 designs never strayed far from that there were still some artistic liberties taken. Could MP... let's say MP-45 for sake of argument, get even closer? To be honest, that is basically the only direction we could see taking with a new MP Optimus Prime to make it even halfway necessary. It will probably be months before we see it, maybe even more, so we'll have time to think about what else it could be.
