New Rescue Bots Figure Images Show New Forms For Chase And Blades

Hasbro's website has been updated with listings for two new Rescue Bots figures. The new Blades and Chase feature modified vehicle forms based on the originals, and as is always the case with these figures, prominently call out their quick, simple transformations. There's a quick set of photos for both toys which we've got mirrored, so click through and take a look.

The first brand we think of with Transformers is very likely Hasbro. But Hasbro contains multitudes: the combined work, knowledge, & ideas of the most prominent toy companies of the 20th century. And in one way or another over the years, a great many of those brands have touched Transformers and added to it in some way or another. Next up in the new tide of leaks coming from TF-Factory on Weibo is a new Rescue Bots Optimus Primal - which in this line is the name they give to Optimus Prime's Dinobot form! Also shown are a pair of Dinobot Mini-Cons, presumed to turn into accessories for larger figures. It's unknown whether they'll ship with Primal or separately, but if we were guessing... we wouldn't bother, because we have no idea. Click through to see the dinos!

Actor D.C. Douglas, voice of Chase The Police-Bot on Transformers: Rescue Bots - currently the single longest-running Transformers television series - has announced that he will not be returning as Chase for the followup series, Rescue Bots Academy. Neither will anyone else, not even Peter Cullen, as the studio has chosen to recast the entire show using nonunion labor while moving production from Los Angeles to New York.
