Transformers At The Moon has posted links to two new trademark filings from Hasbro: Backtrack, and Autobot Wheelie. The latter's pretty well known, and the name Backtrack was previously used in the live-action and Armada toylines. As to what they'll be used for, we've got some speculation on that in regards to Wheelie. Read on to see!
All we can say for certain about either is that they're names Hasbro is interested in using. That said, the most interesting thing about the use of Wheelie's name is that this corresponds to a rumor from June about the 2016 Generations Legends assortments, which will probably be part of the Titan Wars subline given all that we know at this point. With Backtrack, it's too early to tell: a new Combiner Wars/Titan Wars character? A Robots In Disguise Mini-Con? A new name for an untrademarkable character? Or just keeping a name handy for when they have a toy to go with it? We'll find out in 2016, probably!
