Carey Payton - Grimlock
Will Friedle – Bumblebee
Adam Beechen - Producer
Jose Lopez - Art Director
Jeff Kline - Executive Producer

[ begins with teaser trailer shown earlier this week ]

Panel talks about working with Peter Cullen.

They didn't want to do another Optimus Prime versus Megatron story for the new series.

They wanted to present an endless array of characters, especially bad guys.

Bumblebee is sent to Earth to hunt down escapees from a prison shop that has crashed on Earth.

Bee is given a team of new recruits to find them.

A Fixit toy is said to be coming soon.

The core creative team from Prime is working on the new RID 2015 cartoon.

Focus is on lighter and brighter Transformers designs.

They want to push the character into places that might surprise viewers.

Design philosophy is more simple than that on Prime.

They went back to G1 a little bit for the design inspiration.

The simpler designs lets them do more with style and character of the compared to the Prime show.

Grimlock has been confirmed to be in the new RID 2015 show.

The voice actors for Bumblebee and Grimlock didn't know which character they would be till they got the jobs.

More talk about working with Peter Cullen and how much the VAs are happy to be on this project.

Constance Zimmer says she didn't know what a Bot was when she got the job. She's used to working on camera and had to learn to show emotions through her voice.

Her character Strongarm has blue eyeliner and is sarcastic, funny and super though!

She turns into a Cop car.

She was happy her character was not in typical girl colors like pink or purple.

She has a tense relationship with Sideswipe.

She hopes to live up to the standards of the Transformers.

The writer was previously into Micronaughts and is becoming more familiar with the Transformers by doing a lot of research on the lore.

Fixit is said to be a custodian of the prison ship that crashed on Earth.

Fixit is said to be the comedy relief character in the show.

He has all the knowledge of the escapees from the crashed ship.

He gets into it with Bumblebee.

Supposedly they "mix it up" in one of the episodes.

Fixit has stutter due to his vocal cords that were slightly damaged in the crash.

[ showing a clip from cartoon now ]

Bumblebee arrives back on Earth, rallying his troops.

"Roll up and roll out" is his battle cry.

Denny and son Russel are humans in the show. They own a junk yard.

Stewart Allen plays Russel and Ted McGinley plays the father.

The show is said to be a mix of 3D characters in a 2D world.

[ showing another video clip ]

Bad guys shown on screen. The crab type character has strange eyes and is kind of dumb.

Optimus Prime will return to the show in future. Not just as the remote commander as we have seen already.

Sideswipe is a Ninja type character.

Lots of joking about a My Little Pony crossover episode.
