TFCon Toronto reports that Garry Chalk, voice actor of Optimus Primal (Beast Wars, Beast Machines) and Optimus Prime(Transformers: Armada, Transformers: Energon, Transformers: Cybertron) will be making an appearance at the convention this year! Chalk will be at the con for the entire weekend, attending Q&A panels and holding autograph sessions. Keep reading for details!
Garry will be taking part in Q&A panels and autograph sessions with the attendees of the world’s largest fan-run Transformers convention all weekend long.
“We are thrilled to welcome back Garry Chalk to TFcon,” says General Manager Colin Douglas. “Fans of the Transformers franchise will have the opportunity to see him in a rare reunion with David Kaye, his counterpart in the Beast Wars and Unicron Trilogy series.”
Garry Chalk is presented by Ages 3 and Up.
TFCon Toronto takes place between July 13th and July 15th at the Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale in Mississauga, Ontario. Other guests include Hal Rayle, voice of G1 Snarl and Shrapnel, More Than Meets The Eye/Lost Light writer James Roberts, and as mentioned above, Chalk's counterpart David Kaye. Kaye played Megatron in every series in which Chalk was an Optimus, and then went on to play Optimus Prime himself in Transformers: Animated.
Let's hope that Power of the Primes Leader class Optimal Optimus is in plentiful supply by that point so there's easy access for toys for Mr. Chalk to sign!
