In Demand Toys posted to Facebook sharing a few pieces of new stock photography. These cover the upcoming Walmart exclusive 35th Anniversary Siege toys, which will reportedly be available in the UK between Kapow Toys and In Demand Toys themselves.
These photos notably give us the first looks at the "cel shaded" decos of Optimus and Megatron on actual toys, rather than just renders, and the effect has turned out almost surprisingly well! The paint shading on Prime's windows and faceplate especially convey the idea well, and could easily have been enough for this style all on their own without the added paint deco on the arms and legs.
In something of a contrast is Soundblaster, who uses Soundwave's existing paint masks, leaving the toy with an identical damage deco pattern. This isn't a surprise, but seeing it alongside the alternate versions of Optimus and Megatron might make it feel a little more disappointing for some fans. We've recently seen Bluestreak out of package and can confirm his deco is "clean" just like Prowl's was, and like we've seen Smokescreen so far.
The Walmart exclusives are expected to be released on or about October 1st.
