CNBC reports that retailer Party City is taking steps to launch 50 Toy City pop-up stores here in the United States by September for the holidays.
This move comes in the wake of Toys R' Us closing all it's US based stores for good which should start to happen in the next 5-10 days. Party City already has a lot of experience with pop-up seasonal stores with their Halloween themed ones. The toy stores are only expected to operate through the holidays but they also plan on expanding their website with more toy sales as well.
