POLL WINNER: Coming To Walmart In 2020, G1 Reissue Astrotrain!

Through three rounds, fans have jettisoned weight until Astrotrain is the winner of Hasbro Pulse's G1 reissue poll! Beating out Perceptor, Thundercracker, and Skywarp, Astrotrain is estimated to reach Walmart stores in spring of 2020.

Astrotrain has had a troubled history in Hasbro's previous reissue lines, which may be part of why he was chosen by the community. His original reissue was at the tail end of the early-2000s Commemorative Series and never reached standard retail, instead ending up as an early HasbroToyShop exclusive. The most recent attempt, a Platinum Edition 2-pack with Blitzwing, was in an as-yet completely unexplained color scheme related to no version of the character anyone seems to be aware of.

Astrotrain was available in two color schemes in his last Japanese reissue: the toy color-scheme, as seen in the package art being used on Instagram, and a more animation-accurate gray. It should be interesting to see which way Hasbro goes with that!

I would love to see some of the G1 Molds that have not been reissued a few times already. Mirage, Grand Slam or Raindance for example
