Galvatron & Clench - Armada - Figures

Well, I just got this dude from the local neighborhood target, and didn't get mugged either! First off, I just want to say that this is a review of the paint differences, and just a little bit of the robot itself!

Vehicle Mode - This is, again, an H-type tank, and in no way resembles G1 g'tron, his primary color here is white, although the big-gun-thing is a plum color, along with the three powerlinx flaps, and the sides of the front treads. Its button pusher on the gun is gold, and so is the mini-con launcher pad. The missiles are both gold, and the feet parts are both light purple. The powerlinx on top of his swivel piece is purple, and there is shadowing on the tip of his gun, made with airbrushes. This looks REALLY cool, and is highly detailed. The missile launcher also has this effect, as well as several portions which have blast marks that look awesome. His head is still visible, and his lights are on. His treads have some nice dirt effects on 'em, and it looks awesome.

Robot Mode - Hold on, lemme transform this sucka, ok, yeah yeah, the power is yours, whatever. Ok. The first thing that you notice is that he has two bright purple d'con symbols on his shoulders. His primary color is... well, he really doesn’t have one... ok, his lower legs are both white and his feet are black with gold wire frame. he has the detailed treads on his shoulders, and light purple on his shoulders and upper arms. He has black lower arms, and light purple hands, he has the blast marks on his lower legs, light purple upper legs, a black pelvis, light purple stomach, with purple details and gold lights on the sides. he has a black chest with light purple breast plates, and a bright purple d'con logo, his horns are the plum color, along with most of his helmet, gold sides on his horns, gold top helmet, a black face, red eyes, red circles, and lost of details.

Mini-con Clench - This is the best part of the package! In vehicle mode, he is mostly black with silver windows, gold machine guns, plum axles, and flaps, and the coolest mini-con vehicle mode ever! His robot mode is the most human-like of any mini-con, with almost no evidence of his vehicle mode in sight! he is mostly black, with a white chest, yellow goggles, plum arms and thighs. he is one of the most possible, and quite possibly the best ever! he alone is worth 25 bucks!

Overall - Although I would have preferred that Hasbro used a new mold, I can't argue with this guy’s looks! The paint brings out every ounce of detail, and looks amazing! his mini-con was the best before, and now it renewed the title! This guy alone is worth every penny, but galvy's pose ability leaves MUCH to be desired, this is a paint review, and i cant grade down because they didn’t use a new figure! if you can find him, buy him, if not, envy those who did!
