Demolishor & Blackout - Armada - Figures

I'm British and finding Transformers here in the UK is close to impossible, so when I saw this guy in the local Woolworths, a British chain of shops, I snapped him up for one reason-big tank mode. Time to explain-

Vehicle mode: I love this mode! I mean it! He looks so deadly in this mode, with his big missile launchers and his smaller guns that can be turned to either be Anti-Air, behind or front. The colours are very dull, and that seems to make him more fun, it's like a toy tank in itself really. Also Blackout, a not too bad tank mode and robot mode, can be slotted into a tiny launcher just in-between the front of the tank mode and if you press a tiny button at the back of the tank mode, Blackout is shot out like a bullet, that's another bit of fun, just hard to keep him staying in that tiny slot that's the problem. Also Blackout can be seated in the driving seat of Demolishor and can give more firepower with his arms, cute. A nice, fun mode that I'm looking forward to using in a better battle once I've got me and my fiancee's G1 Prime added to the collection.

Robot mode: The transformation to this mode isn't bad, the legs look a little tall and I've noticed that if you don't spilt the front of his mode apart, then you have a walking mech! The base mode is good as well, would look nice next to Mega-Octane's base mode. The robot mode is nice, but looks a little top heavy, plus again the head doesn't turn, that would have been good if it did. Also it would have been great if the arms could be moved to the side, give him a good pose of insane gun master. The powerlinks are mostly dead with just one that works, that fires only one arm of his missiles, a bit of a wasted idea that, would have been better to have the four missiles firing with two power links. More weapons hidden and useable with mini cons would have been very nice indeed. So all in all, he's pretty good in both modes, tank being the best, just a shame he's not highly pose able, would have been great to see a heavily armed Transformer able to make Scourge look like a brick for posing.

I would say get this one, if only for it's tank mode, with the Combaticons, Scourge and any other military vehicle, you'll have a nice little army.
