Scourge - RiD Destructicon - Figure

I've been looking forward to picking up the Destructicons, so I did just that when I finally saw them at my local Kaybee's.

Vehicle Mode: This time around, Scourge is a small missile truck. He's got the same color scheme as his big brother except his decepticon symbol is stamped on the hood instead of the doors. It doesn't hold its shape very tightly though, as the front section doesn't have any way to anchor itself to the rest of the vehicle- allowing it to rotate rather freely.

Transformation: Flip and separate the front section to make the legs and feet. Raise the switches in between the final pair of wheels to reveal the fists, then separate the rear section and rotate the shoulders to bring the arms down. Extend the forearms slightly so you can bend them and make the fists face up. Presto, Scourge is now a robot.

Robot Mode: Destructicon Scourge's robot mode looks very much like the big Scourge, right down to the creepy light piping effect in the eyes. The Decepticon symbols on each forearm are a nice touch. Scourge can swivel at the hip, although the tube connecting the bellows to the missile launcher can get in the way. Overall though, very sweet and evil looking.
Overall, Destructicon Scourge is a very nice toy, although I am a bit disappointed in now poorly the truck mode holds itself. He is of much better quality than Bludgeon though, so if you can only buy one RiD Destructicon, buy Scourge.
