SuperCon Optimus Prime - Armada - Figure

A cheaper version of prime is now available for those who could not afford his larger, more expensive version. (I got him cause I needed at least some kind of Prime while i wait for the Powerlinx version). He has a neat little mini-con Overrun with as well.

OVERRUN: Overrun is a jet that turns into a robot and also turns into Prime's gun.

TRANSFORMATION: Simply flip out the arms and flip down the cockpit and spread the legs apart. Not much skill required.

GIMMICKS: Overrun's main gimmick is being Prime's gun. he can also attach to Prime's back to perform a Punching action which was very badly done casue he barely moves at all. I dont subtract any points cause if the feature actually worked well it still would probably not be used much anyways. Overrun can also attach to Prime while he is in truck mode to act as a gun (or anti air gun if you perfer. It IS pointing slightly up after all).

PRIME: Prime is very cool in both of his modes. He looks awesome even though he is a very freaky looking truck.

TRANSFORMATION: Fold down his feet and then pull down legs. Pull apart legs, then move arms into place. Fold down grill and then fold it up into holes on chest. Move shoulders into position and there you have it. Super-con Prime. This version of prime actually makes it look like the head DOESNT come out of the chest unlike the More expenisve version. He is pretty posable and very durable. One of the better Armada figures.

OVERALL: A great idea to make him cheaper for those who cant afford the trailer and VERY cool minicon. Although not EVERYTHING is perfect, he is still a solid Armada figure and you should definately pick him up even if you have his $40 version cause you still get a new minicon. Final Score: 9/10.
