Prowl - Generation 1 - Figure

Well, after writing a bunch of short reviews on, this is my first big one. So go easy on me please. I don't know how to put on pictures so there is none, sorry.

Vehicle mode: Prowls car mode represents a police car.He shares the same mold as Blue/Silversreak & Smokescreen. The sirens are red w/a little silver and a blue & yellow shield decal on the front. His main colors are white. The front of the car is made of metal and the tires are made of rubber. The licence plate reads "police" and right above it says "Highway Patrol".

Transformation: First, open the doors and pull out the rear of the car. Flip the feet up and pull them apart. Lift the tab on his waist and turn it 180 degrees. Flip the arms out & flip the front of the car forward. Flip the windshield down to expose robot head. Place missles inside holders and put them in the holes in the head. Place the gun in either hand.

Robot mode: Standing at about 4 inches tall, prowl is a midgit compared w/ todays Tfs. Unlike his 1984 counterpart, his missles are black, not chrome. Not a problem to me though. Prowl has very little kibble, just the car doors hanging out like wings. The articulation is acceptable, 11 points. 10 in the arms and 1 in the waist. Durability is poor. My friend's Prowl fell and shattered into pieces. Be careful.

Overall: I think Prowl is a great figure to own. Since I'm only 12 years old, I never had a chance to get him. Thank you Hasbro and Takara!
