A harmless beetle? Not hardly! Insecticon is a robot in disguise and ready to battle the Maximals in the Beast Wars.
Beast Mode
In his beetle form, Insecticon is about four to five inches long and bears a striking resemblance to a bug I once saw in Germany while visiting relatives many years ago. That creature scared me then, but Insecticon is far from frightening (to me anyways). His wings in the rear open up so as to mimic flight. I assume these things fly at any rate.
Robot Mode
As a robot, Insecticon has an evil look about him, This is definitely not one of the good guys. Hidden behind his wings are two weapon halves that when put together form a rather nice looking crossbow style weapon. The only problem lies in that his insect legs can get in the way when attempting to pose or play with him in this mode. It's not a real big deal actually, but I figured it worth mentioning.
