Originally I wasn't going to get this toy, but after getting Rav and Dillo, I figured I mightas well complete the set.
Beast Mode
This mechanised mole is decked out in yellow, black, tan, and
transparent red. From his auger snout to the sawblade poking out of his rear, Mol measures just over 11 cm (4") long. His front limbs can swivel about, but that's about it in terms of articulation. Turning the cog behind his head causes the auger to spin. Mol is easily the most robotic of the Deployers, with practically no organic elements to speak of. He reminds me
very much of the G1 Technobot Nosecone. Interestingly, his red transparent face plate can be removed to make him seem even more mechanical. The sawblade can be fired in this mode by pressing the tan trigger on Mol's back.
Transformation
Tap on Mol's head to activate his transformation. Swivel his front limbs around to act as supports, and flip up the handles on his rear limbs/treads.
Borer Mode
This isn't nearly as impressive as Rav's crossbow mode. Basically it's a stand-up boring machine, kinda similar to a jackhammer.
I've found that Snarl looks best manning Mol, but I reckon he'd want to remove that sawblade from Mol's rump before attempting to operate. Could be a nasty accident otherwise. The blade fires just as well in this mode, but it lacks the punch of Dillo's bolo.
Mol was later re-released with a blue and green colour scheme.
OverallSuspsy Sez: Mol is probably the weakest of the three Deployers. He's not what I'd call a terrible figure, but nor does he seem destined to fly off shelves. His alt mode essentially involves him performing a
handstand. Don't go out of your way to find this toy.
