Deluxe Optimus Priime - Cybertron - Figure

First off, I would like to point out that this figure's occasional mis-assembly will not play a part in this review. I can't review something that doesn't happen to every figure. Now then, this figure has got it all, period. It's Optimus Prime's best Deluxe figure mold with a paint scheme similar to the recently released Galaxy Force Optimus Prime which is this figure's Leader class counterpart. This amalgamation actually comes out looking very impressive.

Following my point system, this guy's vehicle mode is perfect. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this mode. It's the perfect combination of Armada Prime's G1ish mold with the new Galaxy Force Optimus' paint scheme. It looks fantastic put together and really looks new, which is a good thing considering hasbro has reissued this mold several times.

The Robot Mode however is what really makes this figure great. Think G1 meets Armada Primes Articulation and the GF Primes Deco. Yeah, it's that good. The figure's 'Darker' paint apps make the figure much more serious than previous Primes and gives him the stern war veteran look. This definitely looks like a Prime that could end a war.

Overall, this figure is the perfect prime. Articulation, G1 similarities and a killer paint scheme. Best of all, the figure conveys that wise leader image that Optimus Prime has always illustrated perfectly. With no flaws to speak of and one of my personal hall-of-famers: ten out of ten.
