Overhaul - Cybertron - Figures

Tecspecs:
Name: Overhaul
Faction: Autobot
Vehicle Mode: S.U.V

One tough Autobot, Overhaul has never thought much of intellectual pursuits. His solution to a complex problem is generally to stomp on it until it gets simple or stops being a problem. He's never felt that he's had the respect his strength deserves from the other Autobots, but now that he's on the Jungle Planet -- where might makes right -- he feels right at home.

Vehicle Mode:
In vehicle mode Overhaul is a dark green S.U.V. The first thing you notice about Overhaul is his jungle colour scheme; dark green, gold and orange, perfect colours for an Autobot assigned to a jungle planet.

On the front of Overhaul are two red headlights, there are also two yellow headlights on the front of the hood. On the hood are two golden stripes. Behind the hood is an orange window with two yellow lights above them. On the doors are two orange windows, dark green side mirrors, two golden stripes and two silver platforms.

On the back of Overhaul is a black tyre with a transparent orange panel, a slot where you insert the Cyber Planet Key and two black grills.

Overhaul has four black wheels each with a black hubcap.

Transformation: to Robot Mode
1. Flip down grills
2. Flip out doors
3. Pull up front of vehicle mode
4. Flip down front of vehicle mode
5. Flip head out of spare tire and flip out feet
6. Twist head around

Robot Mode:
In robot mode the front of Overhaul’s vehicle mode becomes his leg armour, now with black boot like feet and stabilisers. His legs are yellow and are connected to, his yellow, gold fronted waist by yellow ball joints.

His vehicle mode doors form shoulder shields, attached to them by yellow ball joints, are his arms. His upper arms are short and black each with a gold part and two silver vent parts. His lower arms are yellow and bent inwards towards him each with a yellow vent part, his vehicle mode rear wheels on one side and three claws (formally his vehicle mode grills) similar to Wolverine(from X-Men)’s claws.

Overhaul has a green torso, with a black chest plate, with a silver outlined space for his missile, two silver parts and two red parts.

Overhaul’s head is black and shaped similar to G1 Starscream’s head, his ears are kinda wolf like. Overhaul has a small chin giving him a rugged look, a gold crest on his forehead, a silver mouth and two transparent orange eyes and a transparent orange panel on the back of his head.

In robot mode the slot for the Cyber Planet Key is located on his back, when the Cyber Planet Key is inserted it automatically fires his missile.

Accessories:
Overhaul comes with a transparent orange missile with two parts sticking out from the sides and a transparent green Jungle Planet Cyber Planet Key with silvers claws and scales on the edges and a mechanical claw in the centre.
Cyber Planet Key Code:
Overhaul’s Cyber Planet Key Code is s9d7 which when entered at Transformers.com reveals design sketches for Overhaul’s head and the text:

In the original design stage for TF: Cybertron, Overhaul was going to be called "Trailbreaker", a popular name from the 1980's. This was to match up with his later upgrade to "Leobreaker" -- a lion on the Jungle Planet. His name was changed to Overhaul, but the Lion's name stayed the same! A lion would sound kinda funny with the name "Leohaul", right?
Overall:
Overhaul has a simple vehicle mode and a great colour scheme suitable for a Jungle Planet Autobot. His robot mode is o.k. but not as good as his vehicle mode. With his jungle colour scheme, bulky armour, wolf ears and claws Overhaul certainly has a rugged, tough and ‘Wolverine’ look.

The only problems I have with this toy is that without the missile there’s a gap in his chest, but with the missile the end sticks out of his back, his Cyber Planet Key gimmick only works in robot mode and the lower arms are always bent towards his body.
I give him 6/10.
