Leo Prime - Classics - Figure

The Supreme Commander of the beasts is back. Leo Convoy is now Leo Prime. In the Transformers Classic Legends serise we have been getting more, Leo Prime has come to Hasbro, I think it is the first time too. Beast Wars Neo was a Japanese series with Japanese toys so this is the first US version of Leo Prime/Convoy we ever got. I got him in Australia in the Big W store and I got Perceptor, Trypticon and Fireflight so I got the whole wave 1 Legends series or actually wave 5 if you listen to the package, it says series 5 and that means wave five, and we continue in wave six for wave six.

Package

The package is quite small. At the front we see the figure packaged in robot mode and the word Autobot and under that it says his name LEO PRIME. On the sides and bottom we see some metal details. The metal goes up the top left cornerand goes down a little. On the top section of the card, we Hane the Transformers Logo and the Autobot Symble next to it and under we says Robots In Disguise. It is for ages 5+. His skill level is 1 and he is from assortment 81313. Now lets go to the back of the package...

In the top left corner, we have an Autobot Symbol, next to it in the middle of the top, it says Series 5 then we have the metal details next to it witch go down to the bottom. If you go lower, you see the figure in beast and robot mode, on top of the robot mode is says Supreme Commander from the Planet Cybertron. next to the robot mode on the upper section and on top of the Beast mode we have the technical data and on the bottom we have the transformation from robot to beast and just under that we have more metal details.

At this rate the figure is packaged in robot mode, I will start in beast mode.

Beast mode

It seems thar all the Classic Legends are repaints on the Cybertron Legends, and Leo is a repaint of Leobreaker and I am sure you would know that even it you never saw this figure yet. He is a white lion like Leo Convoy with some red gold highlings like Convoy as well. He has a black nose and blue eyes and an Autobot symbol on his right arm. He has one feature. He has claws (whitch are the Cyber Key feature of the Voyager Leobreaker) that can fold down and he also has a molded small Cyber key slot on each lower arm. The claws are suposed to be down in this mode.

He dose have some articulation as well. The tail moves up and down, The arms move forward and backwould but they bend at the elbow in robot mode and the legs have knee movement and that have ball joint holding the legs. There are two different golds here on him. The claws, tail and back are a dark gold and the other gold on the head and shoulders are metalic and lighter.

Robot Mode

The robot mode seems quite nice. He has some more colouring, He is mostly white, with two golds, light red, blue head and blue on the chest for the lion eyes, and black on the chest for the lions nose and he has a silver face, but on the torso, we have a very new colour, and it looks like an ancient colour as well. He has an Autobot symbol in the same place as he did on the beast mode and has it on his right arm. Once again he has the claws and the cyber keyb slots.

He still has his articulation but now th head rotates and the elbows bend.

Overall, he is so far my favorite Legend that is out in stores, but out of every including the Movie Legends, I think I like Jazz. He is my favorite classics Legend. For $3.99, I recommend him.
