RID 2015
Robots In Disguise Mobile Game Updated - New Mini-Cons Revealed And More!
RAC - Sunday, November 08, 2015

Allspark User Razorsaw has posted a series of screengrabs from the recently-updated RID mobile game, and we're in for quite a few new Mini-Cons! In addition to the Torpedo-type Mini-Cons we've seen up to now, we've got quite a few Weapon-types, and a handful of other prefixes that may or may not be game-exclusive. Also, some new variations on the main cast based around Asian releases of the Warrior Class figures, and a "Battlepack" version of Grimlock whose body design we can't quite place. Keep reading to see!
From Allspark Poster Jalaguy:

Quickly went over a list of all the Mini-Con variants I found:

Buzzsaw Slipstream
Buzzsaw Sawback
Torpedo Divebomb
Torpedo Dragonus
Buzzsaw Beastbox
Buzzsaw Velocirazor
Torpedo Ratbat
Torpedo Sandsting
Buzzsaw Jetsorm
Torpedo Airazor

These are the 2015 singles and Deployer pack-ins.

Cyclone Back
Cyclone Hammer
Blizzard Slipstream
Torpedo Swelter

These are the third wave of singles, as listed for preorder here and there. I'm technically guessing that it's Blizzard Slipstream, but the contemporary wave of Deployers has Blizzard Drift & Jetstorm, so it seems logical.

Blizzard Jetstorm
Cyclone Backtrack

These are the second wave of Deployer pack-ins.

Weapon Chainstorm
Weapon Slipstream
Weapon Bashbreaker

The three listed weapons. We got stock photos of two different weapons, Bludgeon and Windstrike, at NYCC, so who knows which are the first wave.

Scorch Jetstorm
Scorch Undertone
Scorch Beastbox
Scorch Hammer
Stealth Slipstream
Stealth Hammer
Stealth Anvil
Stealth Bashbreaker
Cyclone Undertone
Cyclone Anvil
Cyclone Bludgeon
Cyclone Major Mayhem
Blizzard Swelter
Blizzard Backtrack
Glacius Swelter
Ransack Backtrack (another consequence of this game's approach to different-character redecoes, like Legion Ultra Magnus)

The rest. Presumably a mix of singles and Deployer pack-ins.

More RID 2015 News
From chuckdawg1999 on the forums, we have a new video showing one of the final two Crash Combiner sets from Robots in Disguise, featuring Bisk and Saberhorn. This, and the Optimus/Grimlock combiner pair seem to be the final toys for the RID line. The assortment has evidently started to be available in some capacity in the US, following a release in some of Hasbro Asia's territories a bit earlier. We have Chuck's video embedded below, so click through to take a look and see what the new combiner set is all about!
Amazon has posted listings with images for what are most likely the last two Crash Combiner sets! Primelock (a combination of Optimus Prime & Grimlock) and Saberclaw(Saberhorn & Bisk) are listed as being available in April 2018 - which is a date connected with a lot of Transformers listings of late. It's tough to say if these will ever show up at US domestic retail, but keep reading to see the images.
Robots in Disguise the TV show is over - the toyline isn't to be far behind, either - and it looks like as a closing bow, we're to be treated to some reveals of design and art assets from the development of the series. Artist Walter Gatus has posted quite a bit in his personal portfolio, featuring some early designs, and things going all the way through season 2 and the abbreviated "season 3" featuring Starscream. Fans of the show should find this an enjoyable experience to browse through, as there's lots of interesting stuff to be seen. Check it out mirrored below!
We're at the doorstep of a round of brand new toys, but before we get going on that, we have one more gallery to offer from a little farther back. Earlier this year with the Combiner Force refresh of Robots in Disguise came a new assortment of Warrior Class toys, and among them was Blurr - a crossover character from Rescue Bots! It also happens to be a really solid RID figure, if a tiny bit towards the "simple" side. We have 120 photos showing off both modes, transformation, poseability, and the accessory, and there's a race at the finish! Click through to find the complete gallery below!
Ronald McSanta has a little surprise for Transformers fans at McDonald's next month! We say "little" because there is just one Transformers item in what is a special holiday train set that features an array of popular culture properties including Toy Story, Despicable Me, My Little Pony, Hot Wheels and others. The Transformers toy offering is one from the Robots In Disguise series with Bumblebee sticking his head out a car-carrier type train car. See the image below for the full look.
