SDCC 2014 Knights of Unicron Tour Guide Images and More Details on Transformers Exclusive Figures Set

Just in are new official images of the New Knights of Unicron Transformers SDCC Exclusive figures set. Get a first look at the tour guide and stickers that come with the set along some news and previously seen images of the figures on stage and in their heavy metal robot modes as well as looks at their alternate modes. The tour guide is great. Loaded with band facts such as *girlfriend* of Oprimus Prime, Arcee is considered the unofficial 5th member. There are also lyrics and more fun stuff. We also see a sticker for another group, "Bumblebee and the Hive." Could there be more to come?

The set will be selling for $184.99 USD in booth #3329 at Comic-Con International in San Diego July 27-30. We also learn these figures will be available at Hasbro Toys Shop in limited quantities after the convention. Read on to see official tour guide and more information now.

In honor of the 30th anniversary of the TRANSFORMERS brand, this Special Edition set presents your favorite TRANSFORMERS characters as you’ve never seen them before—as hard-rockin’ robots in the universe’s greatest band, the Knights of Unicron!

The four Deluxe Scale rock god action figures OPTIMUS PRIME, MEGATRON, SMOOTH JAZZ and SOUNDWAVE each feature glam rock deco, metal band hair, and the titanic egos that once tore them apart.  Also joining the tour are LASERBEAK, who converts into a note-shredding electric guitar and RATBAT, who converts into the funkiest keytar this side of CYBERTRON.  

The entire set is packaged in an amazing “roadie case,” including special edition posters, stickers, and tell-all history booklet depicting the hardest-rocking band in the history of CYBERTRON! Following the convention, a limited number will be available on
