SDCC 2017 - Transformers Panels and Events Listings

We are just weeks away from the biggest convention of the year, San Diego Comic-Con 2017. We are rounding up the Transformers related events that we will be covering at the show. We were kind of sad to not have a Transformers products panel last year, so we are extra happy to see Hasbro will be dedicating a whole panel this year to just Transformers! We will also be getting two more scoops from the Transformers vs Gi Joe, as well as the Let's Create A Cartoon Series panels that will including our favorite BIGbots! Read on for more.

This panel will also feature a special sneak preview of the Hasbro comic book event First Strike ! Panelists Mairghread Scott (Transformers: Till All Are One), John Barber (Transformers: Optimus Prime), Aubrey Sitterson (G.I. Joe), Chris Ryall (Rom), David A. Rodriguez (First Strike), and Brandon Easton (M.A.S.K.) offer an in-depth look at the Hasbro line of comic books.

Let's Create A Cartoon Series
Saturday July 22, 2017
10:00am - 11:00am
Room 9

Experienced animation show creators, including Dean Stefan (Matchbox Big Rig Buddies, Quack Pack), Craig Miller (Curious George, Beast Wars: Transformers), Nicole Dubuc (Young Justice, Transformers: Rescue Bots), and Andrew Robinson (Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters, Young Justice), take suggestions called out by people in the audience, first for a genre, then for a main character, then other characters to add, then the world it takes place in. This is a combination of actual show creation and a sort of improv game. It's a take on how a show is created-all the elements you must consider, such as what age group it's for, why the idea of it being about this or that would be too expensive, or why it can't take place on water if it's CGI.
