While still what we would consider early in its life cycle, it seems that a running change has already been carried out on the latest member of the generations Starscream family. Jason Rye reported this finding to us, which involves an alteration to how Starscream's wings/backpack connect to the body. The design tweak is said to improve how the jet mode comes together, and may have other benefits as well. You can see a side by side comparison of the two versions of Starscream, find out more detail, as well as get one of the batch codes identified as being associated with this running change below. We still don't know when or how (c'mon, Toy Fair!) but it seems like it's happening: regular Weibo leaker tf-factory has posted leaked artwork for Power of the Primes Blast Off! It's a nice looking painting which, unsurprisingly, shows him off in his shuttle mode to emphasize the Unite Warriors mold in use here. Also, we've got artwork for Studio Series Optimus Prime and Starscream. Click through!
The Cybertron general election is close at hand. The frontrunner candidates are Elita-1 and Starscream, options not giving a lot of people feelings of confidence. Meanwhile Windblade has returned to her life and is given a hero's welcome back to the council ...until she takes it upon herself to air the biggest secret thy'e holding out to the general population. "The Chosen One" written by Mairghread Scott, art by Sara Pitre-Durocher, and colors by Joana Lafuente. Click here to read the review!
Surprise! Or it would have been if not for the tireless efforts of eternal Weibo leaker tf-factory, who has posted Power of the Primes package backs today. Included are Voyagers Elita-1, Inferno, and Hun-Gurr as well as Deluxe Moonracer. Also, a Deluxe Blast Off who is marked off presumably to permit more leaks later - which is just stupid, because what else would it be but a US release of the Unite Warriors mold? Keep reading to see the images, which are potentially frustrating on a variety of levels.
TFW2005 user Mr. Chaos has posted a listing of UPCs for upcoming Power of the Primes products from ToysRUs' computer! If you've followed the PotP leaks since July and August, the contents of Wave 2 and 3 aren't exactly a surprise - but this is pretty good confirmation of what's to come. Keep reading for more info!
The first of wave 1 literally just started appearing at retail in the US a couple days ago, and we're already starting to see a quick inflow if data about wave 2! Via Southern Hobby Supply, we have a few listing for Power of The Primes giving info about the second wave case assortments. We know the breakdowns now for the Prime Master, Voyager, and Leader classes. Deluxe and Legends did not have populated info as of the time of this writing. Find out what's coming up in the full article below.
This week on Radio Free Cybertron: Recent leaks are starting to fill in the gaps from Power of the Primes. We've got a peek at Abominus, and the Elita-1, and Inferno-based combiners. Speaking of peeks, we barely got our first peek about Cyberverse and we speculate wildly as to what it means. Also on the show Don has Ouchicus My Walletus, plus Diecast got Scoria Take II, and traded in his car for good measure. Now that's #Dononomics!
Hot on the heels of the previous round of leaks, we've got one more set for you! First up is a look at the instructions lineart for Abominus, as well as for the as-yet unnamed combined modes of Voyagers Starscream and Elita-1. Plus we've got trading card art for many of the Wave 1 releases. Keep reading to see!
Another leak has come out from the usual Weibo source, and it's a pretty substantial one. It's primarily made of art assets for Power of the Primes packaging and instructions, so - while small - they represent the best looks we've yet gotten at largely unseen figures such as Voyager Elita-1, Deluxe Moonracer, and more. We also get illustrations of Jazz, Moonracer, and Rippersnapper as arms, and some in-package photos to top it all off. Keep reading for a full catalog of what's here!
From our same old Weibo leak source, we've got some new pieces of Power of The Primes art and package assets leaked. We have more views of Elita-1, showing the collector card front and back and giving a good look at (an interpretation of) her robot mode. Also seen is a partial image of Inferno's robot mode, plus an instruction image of Volcanicus showing the ability to attach surplus combiner hands to the combiner feet to extend the heel support. Keep reading to see all of the images!
It's that time again: a week has passed since a major convention so the usual leakers on Weibo are back on the job. Today we have a look at the combining diagram forPower of the Primes combiner Abominus which will presumably appear in every Terrorcon's instructions, and pegs the last three members of the team as "coming Late 2018." We also have slices of the package art for Voyagers Hun-Gurrr, Elita-1, and Inferno that show off their respective combined forms, Abominus, ????, and ????. Keep reading to see!
UPDATED with more slides! In the single largest leak we've yet seen out of Weibo, the entire first four waves of Power of the Primes have been leaked. We've got a Dinobot Combiner, the Terrorcons, a glimpse of the next Leader Optimus Prime, and much more! Keep reading for a list of what's here and why we're pretty sure it's all real!
Sara Pitre-Durocher has posted her character designs for a certain character revealed at the close of Transformers: Till All Are One #8! iTunes has posted the initial preview of the next issue of Transformers: Till All Are One! ...but there's a catch: artist Sara Pitre-Durocher has mentioned that the pages seem to be out of order on iTunes. Thus, we've reordered them in the gallery we've mirrored here! Keep reading to see!
Iron Factory has today unveiled Alleria, their version of Elita-1 which is a retool of their Arcee, Pink Assassin. As we understand it currently, the figure is to be included with the first production of EX14 Ultimate Commander - the Optimus based both on IDW comic designs and God Ginrai. With no additional plan for distribution known at this time, if this information is correct it would make Ultimate Commander of some added interest, not to mention value. We'll keep you updated as we learn more, and for now click through to see the photos of the new figure!
