Wonderfest is happening in Japan right now. The one day event falls just hours after the first day of Toy fair in New York, and on the Transformers side, and consistent with our earlier speculation much the same lineup of products were on display, albeit with subtle differences. Unfortunately in Power of The Primes those differences are limited to the state of finish of the various items shown, rather than things like actual deco choices. For instance, grey prototypes of Optimal Optimus and Predaking versus color versions. Click through to see these and more!
Tomorrow is the day! New York Toy Fair 2018 is finally here, and we go into it with a great deal of uncertainty. What happens with the Transformers movie franchise in stasis lock? Are Cyberverse and Evergreen really going to run two parallel toylines with clashing and overlapping pricepoints using basically the same character models? But what we are certain about is that there are things that we could be shown tomorrow that RAC would love to see... and won't. Keep reading to find out what they are!
Thanks to Cover Atto Kempler (Attobot Prime) on Facebook, who's posted an extended image gallery for the Transformers Power of the Primes Elita-1 figure. There lots of shots of the lady-former in robot, and alternate modes as well as compared with her mold based on the Starscream figures. For you romantic types, there even few shots of here and Optimus Prime.
Thanks to Ricky DeWeese who posted tothe Facebook group Transformers Addicts, we have our first look at Power of The Primes Elita-1 out of package. Elita and Hun-Gurrr both suddenly appeared in store at a Walmart in California this weekend, and we were able to share photos of Hun-Gurr with you earlier today. Elita-1 shows a healthy degree of new parts versus Starscream, leading to a decently distinct visual identity. What it largely has in common with Starscream is expansive wing stickers making up a large portion of the deco for the jet mode. But, it may not be quite as bad. It's "Find Power of The Primes Wave 2 In Stores" Day in the US, from the look of things. Already today we had our first in store sighting of Prime Masters wave 2 at Meijer locations in Illinois. Stepping that up, we've got confirmed sightings of Legends wave 2 at a Walmart in Ohio, which includes Battleslash, Roadtrap, and Tailgate. But we also have the first sighting for Voyager wave 2, which manages to be our very first real look at Elita-1. Elita and Hun-Gurrr were found at a California Walmart. While still what we would consider early in its life cycle, it seems that a running change has already been carried out on the latest member of the generations Starscream family. Jason Rye reported this finding to us, which involves an alteration to how Starscream's wings/backpack connect to the body. The design tweak is said to improve how the jet mode comes together, and may have other benefits as well. You can see a side by side comparison of the two versions of Starscream, find out more detail, as well as get one of the batch codes identified as being associated with this running change below. We still don't know when or how (c'mon, Toy Fair!) but it seems like it's happening: regular Weibo leaker tf-factory has posted leaked artwork for Power of the Primes Blast Off! It's a nice looking painting which, unsurprisingly, shows him off in his shuttle mode to emphasize the Unite Warriors mold in use here. Also, we've got artwork for Studio Series Optimus Prime and Starscream. Click through!
The Cybertron general election is close at hand. The frontrunner candidates are Elita-1 and Starscream, options not giving a lot of people feelings of confidence. Meanwhile Windblade has returned to her life and is given a hero's welcome back to the council ...until she takes it upon herself to air the biggest secret thy'e holding out to the general population. "The Chosen One" written by Mairghread Scott, art by Sara Pitre-Durocher, and colors by Joana Lafuente. Click here to read the review!
Surprise! Or it would have been if not for the tireless efforts of eternal Weibo leaker tf-factory, who has posted Power of the Primes package backs today. Included are Voyagers Elita-1, Inferno, and Hun-Gurr as well as Deluxe Moonracer. Also, a Deluxe Blast Off who is marked off presumably to permit more leaks later - which is just stupid, because what else would it be but a US release of the Unite Warriors mold? Keep reading to see the images, which are potentially frustrating on a variety of levels.
TFW2005 user Mr. Chaos has posted a listing of UPCs for upcoming Power of the Primes products from ToysRUs' computer! If you've followed the PotP leaks since July and August, the contents of Wave 2 and 3 aren't exactly a surprise - but this is pretty good confirmation of what's to come. Keep reading for more info!

We know the breakdowns now for the Prime Master, Voyager, and Leader classes. Deluxe and Legends did not have populated info as of the time of this writing. This week on Radio Free Cybertron: Recent leaks are starting to fill in the gaps from Power of the Primes. We've got a peek at Abominus, and the Elita-1, and Inferno-based combiners. Speaking of peeks, we barely got our first peek about Cyberverse and we speculate wildly as to what it means. Also on the show Don has Ouchicus My Walletus, plus Diecast got Scoria Take II, and traded in his car for good measure. Now that's #Dononomics!
Hot on the heels of the previous round of leaks, we've got one more set for you! First up is a look at the instructions lineart for Abominus, as well as for the as-yet unnamed combined modes of Voyagers Starscream and Elita-1. Plus we've got trading card art for many of the Wave 1 releases. Keep reading to see!
