Grimlock Grimlock

NDA Toys has disclosed new official packaged images of Cyberverse Action Attacker Ultra and Ultimate-class figures! In the Ultra class we've got Bumblebee, Starscream, and Grimlock and Optimus Prime & Megatron for the Ultimate class. As the on-site name for each class indicates, the SRP for Ultras is $20 and Ultimates are $30. Keep reading to see the images and read the official description of each class!

This Studio Series Leader Class lineup features premium figures, each with movie-inspired scale, detail, and backdrop. Figures stand at a scale relative to their character’s height in the movie and feature deco. Each package comes with a movie scene backdrop that can be removed to display the figure on shelf. Fans can use the backdrop and pose their figures in the scene with their own style.

Thanks to Paladin who reported the find on twitter this afternoon, we can confirm that the Leader Class figures from Studio Series are hitting retail in the US. This sighting happened at a Meijer location in Wixom, Michigan, and at least one each of both Blackout and Grimlock were seen. Also reported on the shelf, though not photographed, were the wave 1 Deluxes. Voyagers have also previously been found at Meijer, so if you're in the Midwest, that looks like the place to go for the entire Studio Series lineup right now!

Hasbro Pulse updates with new artwork images of the Transformers Evergreen Grimlock character. Get a look at the Dinbots leader' "conceptual evolution" design in three different versions - Line drawing, colored animation and colored box art styles for the full look below.

Thanks to a Weibo poster, we have a series of images giving us an in-hand look at Studio Series Leader Class Grimlock. This Grimlock promises greater accuracy to the on screen design than the toys that preceded it, and if nothing else it certainly succeeds on that mark in absence of color! Along with some overview images, we've also got some direct side-by-side shots to show off how Grimlock's robot mode stacks up to various other toys. You can find all the images mirrored below.

Via reddit, we have a first in-store sighting of the complete first wave of Studio Series product, comprising the Deluxe, Voyager, and now Leader classes. The find is from Auckland, New Zealand, and the original poster confirms that both Grimlock and Blackout were present at the store, marking their first appearance at standard retail. Their debut in the US is a bit of a question mark as we wait for a street date to come and go, but with Toys R Us on the way out, it's unclear if they may jump the line and go ahead and push whatever inventory is on hand while they have the chance. Transformers At The Moon has posted the latest in their series of deleted audio and extended scenes from the original 1984 The Transformers cartoon series! This time, they've got over ten minutes' worth of dialogue from "Heavy Metal War," featuring the first appearance of the Constructicons. Keep reading to see the video along with a transcript of the dialogue.

Thanks to Jay over at TNI, we have a look at the new Transformers: Power Of The Primes Deluxe Dinobot Combiner Volcanicus figure from Hasbro. You need the Voyager Class Grimlock and the Deluxe Class Slug, Swoop, Snarl and Sludge to be able to form this combiner.

Thanks to Transformers Dioramas, we have some photos of the Studio Series lineup reveal event at ABRIN 2018 in Brazil. The Toy Fair-like show featured several pieces from the line, notably including a packaged sample of Blackout, plus Voyager Megatron which was posed next to other Voyagers, showing a signficant difference in size between Megatron and just about everyone else at that price point. One person was even seen handling one of the Grimlock samples, giving a general idea of the overall volume of that toy as well. We've mirrored many photos from the event which you can find below, plus a link back to the original post.

Toywiz have posted an order page for the Transformers Generations Power of the Primes Volcanicus action figure set that appears to include Grimlock, Sludge, Snarl, Swoop, Slug & Slash. Listed at $169.99 USD pre-order price to begin shipping in April, this release is close at hand and makes us wonder why it managed to slip past the displayed at Toy Fair last month. No images yet, just a silhouette, but you can read the production info below.

Weibo user NOTRAB has posted a gallery of upcoming Studio Series Leader class Grimlock! The new-mold figure is a significant visual upgrade compared to the original 2014 Leader mold. While we might wish for more color, we can't rightly pin that on Hasbro as these figures are designed to be as screen-accurate as they can possibly be. Keep reading to see the photos, mirrored here for convenience!

In piece of good news, the TFWiki has clarified that the Legion-esque Cyberverse Scout-class figures do in fact have full alt-modes! As the promotional images only showed them in their Gerwalk-reminiscent "Action Attacker" configurations, it had been speculated that they would not fully transform. Luckily, that's not the case.
