Recently, Hasbro Australia had to decline to show off Power of The Primes Legends wave 2 at a fan meet event, by request of Hasbro's home office here in the US who had different plans for revealing those toys. But it turns out that decision wasn't entirely in their hands. Via Singapore retailer Robo Robo and Raid Raptor on Planet Iacon, we have photos of the new figures, which includes Tailgate, redeco/retool of Windcharger, and new molds Battleslash and Roadtrap representing the Duocon Battletrap. We have the photos mirrored below. Keep reading to check out the brand new toys!

Earlier this week, Vanderbilt University published an article summarizing the results of a research project undertaken recently. The researchers were studying facial recognition, specifically the ability of people to recognize someone else's face. Challenging the common conclusion that capability in this is based on gender, the researchers brought in some special tools: Transformers. The essential theory being that the childhood associations of facial feature and structure - such as one might get from their toys - inform processing in later life. Find out more below!

With these samples being from the actual production run, retailers should be seeing these come in stock pretty soon. We've mirrored the photos, so click through to check them out.

Stanley Cheung has posted to Facebook with a few quick photos of the newly released Rear-End and Hurricane Upgrade set, focusing particularly on the upgraded Cyclonus. He's added some comments on the set, remarking on Tailgate in a way we can't quite decipher from the machine translation, but the notes on Cyclonus are clearer on at least one point: The newly added hands aren't quite big enough to correctly grip the included sword. While potentially disappointing, it's not a flaw that's beyond fixing by shaving parts down carefully. Click through to see the photos!
