Cyberverse Cyberverse

Rob Springer of Being Awesome, ZoneBase, and Radio Free Cybertron has found a new seasonal Transformers product: Valentines Day cards that convert to a tiny thumb war arena complete with temporary thumb tattoos! These use the new "Evergreen" character designs that we're also seeing used for the new Cyberverse animated series premiering much later this year. Keep reading to see!

Autobase Aichi has gone to the trouble of extracting illustrations of the "Evergreen" designs used for the Authentics toyline from Hasbro's annual Corporate Social Responsibility report! Appearing on the cover as well as pages 26, 34, and 59, the art for Bumblebee, Starscream, Grimlock, and Megatron is available (in relatively small sizes). Keep reading to have a look!

Hasbro Studios has posted a Sales Guide to their website which details their entire catalogue to date. This also includes images and info from the as-yet unreleased Transformers: Cyberverse and Rescue Bots Academy series! We learn quite a few new things, including the specifics of the length and duration of both shows - and get our first look at the Academy cast. Keep reading for details.

2005 Forums member maku098 has posted images of an in-store sighting of the Transformers Authentics Bravo assortment at a Phillipines ToysRUs! This is the wave which contains "Evergreen" versions of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, and Starscream aimed at budget stores. The designs seem to be related to the upcoming Cyberverse series, but little is known about the exact connection just yet. Keep reading to see the images!

Just in by way of Comicbook.com, is our first look at the new Transformers Universe characters Optimus Prime (shown top right), Bumblebee and Windblade as they are said to appear in the show. What's nice to see is there appears to be some resemblances to their orginal Transformers Generations look and maybe even a bit of G1 thrown in for extra flavor.

The group TFCN, by way of Autobase Aichi, has released another image from the recent spate of leaks regarding the new Transformers Authentics line of budget-minded figures. This time we've got an image from the instructions of Starscream confirming that this is, in fact, the line the figure belongs to. Keep reading for the image!

Usual Weibo leaker 淘宝店变形金刚改造工厂 has posted four new images of the Transformers "Authentics" budget line! This time we get robot mode and packaged shots of Megatron and Starscream, who look pretty decent for what they'll probably end up costing. The figures sport basic ball-jointed articulation at the shoulders, elbows, hips, and knees - which is actually decent grading on the cheap toys curve. Keep reading to see!

UPDATE: Facebook group TFCN has updated with two more photos of the figures and an update stating that they've been reminded that these are not, in fact, Transformers Cyberverse figures. They're most likely part of the "Authentics" budget toy line revealed in the leak of a couple months ago. Keep reading to see Optimus Prime and Bumblebee in both modes and on-card!

We've got a sighting of the presumed "Cyberverse" Neo-G1 character models! HeyMickey, of Superhero Time and That One Episode of Star Trek fame, has spotted the Optimus Prime and Bumblebee Go-Karts sporting the new character designs at a Tennessee Walmart. This is the third or fourth mass-market item to use these models now... and curiously, none of them say "Cyberverse" on the package. Will "Cyberverse" just be a distinguishing title for the show, with this being the first line to simply be called "Transformers" in 30 years? We'll find out at HasCon, hopefully, but for now keep reading to see the images!

More in from Weibo, following the Optimus Prime Fidge Its reveal, who else but Lil' ol' Bumblebee should get the cube treatment. These humorous looking figures are possibly part of a new series of interactive toys that are coming next year - Likely to be announced at HasCon next week. Read on to see the image of Fidge Its Bumblebee.

The usual Weibo sources have shared new images of the mysterious Neo-G1 styled toyline that is widely presumed to tie into the upcoming Cyberverse! First off we've got a good look at Grimlock via his package back art - and if this is a Voyager as previous leaks suggested, it's definitely going to be a Cyber Battalion-style Voyager at seven steps for transformation and less-than-generous paint. Also, card art for Optimus Prime and Megatron. Keep reading to see!

The TFcn Facebook Page has posted four pieces of leaked packaging art to Facebook, and they're fascinating. We've got artwork for Starscream, Bumblebee, and Grimlock, as well as an image of an Optimus Prime from a new line of anthropomorphized fidget cubes named Fidget Its. This raises a bunch of new questions, and we'll tell you what we know and how this has caused us to reconsider the possibility that Cyberverse is what everybody thought it was. Keep reading for more info!

So we now know that the next series will be named Transformers: Cyberverse. But what else do we know about it? And what suppositions are going around that are maybe not as solid as people think? We cover all of that - and a little bit more, such as the origins of the Cyberverse name - in the popular Q&A format. Keep reading to see!
